fa بررسی میزان اعتبار روش Tanaka-Johnston جهت برآورد پهنای مزیودیستال دندان های دائمی نیش و آسیای کوچک در یک نمونه از جمعیت شهر قزوین عمومی general تحقیقی Research <p align="right" dir="rtl"><font face="tahoma,arial,helvetica,sans-serif"><b>بیان مساله: </b>یکی از ساده ترین و کاربردی ترین روشهای پیش بینی اندازه دندانهای دائمی نیش و آسیای کوچک، روش Tanaka-Johnston می باشد ولی تحقیقات این پژوهشگران بر روی سفید پوستهای نژاد اروپای شمالی انجام شده است و اندازه دندانها در نژادهای مختلف معمولا با هم تفاوت دارد. هدف: این مطالعه با هدف تعیین میزان اعتبار روش Tanaka-Johnston در نمونه ای از جمعیت شهر قزوین، انجام شد. <br></font></p><p align="right" dir="rtl"><font face="tahoma,arial,helvetica,sans-serif"><b>روش بررسی: </b>تعداد 235 جفت کست مطالعه تهیه شده قبل از درمان انتخاب گردید و اندازه دندانهای دائمی ثنایای فک پایین و نیش و آسیاهای کوچک هر دو فک بر روی این کست های دندانی اندازه گیری شد. به منظور تحلیل نتایج از آنالیز رگرسیون و آزمون t استفاده شد. <br></font></p><p align="right" dir="rtl"><font face="tahoma,arial,helvetica,sans-serif"><b>یافته ها: </b>براساس نتایج این مطالعه، معادلات پیش بینی جدیدی به صورت (Y=12.9+0.4(X برای فک بالا و (Y=10.6+0.5(X برای فک پایین حاصل گردید ولی این معادلات از نظر آماری اختلاف آماری معنی داری را با معادلات Tanaka-Johnston نشان نداد. <br></font></p><p align="right" dir="rtl"><font face="tahoma,arial,helvetica,sans-serif"><b>نتیجه گیری: </b>برای نمونه گرفته شده از شهر قزوین معادلات Tanaka-Johnston را، البته بدون آن که پیش بینی های آنها همراه Overestimate باشد، می توان به شکل قابل قبولی مورد استفاده قرار داد.</font></p> <strong>Statement of Problem:</strong> One of the easiest and most practical methods to predict the size of permanent canines and premolars, is of Tanaka-Johnston, but their research has been only performed on white skin North Europeans and it should be noted that the size of teeth, in various races, differ from each other.<br><strong>Purpose:</strong> The aim of this study was to determine the validity of Tanaka-Johnston method, in a sample population taken from Ghazvin city.<br><strong>Materials and Methods:</strong> The numbers of 235 pairs of study casts, prepared before any kind of treatment, were selected. The size of lower permanent incisors and permanent canines and premolars of both arches were measured. To analyze the results, "regression analysis" and "t test" were used.<br><strong>Results:</strong> Based on the findings obtained from this study, new prediction equations as Y=12.9+0.4(X) and Y=]0.6+0.5(X) were presented for maxilla and mandible, respectively.
