fa بررسی مقایسه‌ای دقت دستگاه Neosono Ultima EZ و رادیوگرافی و یک دستگاه اپکس‌یاب آزمایشی در تعیین طول کانال ریشه عمومی general تحقیقی Research <strong>بیان مسأله:</strong> تاکنون روشهای متعددی برای محاسبه طول کارکرد در درمان ریشه دندان ارائه گردیده است که از آن جمله می‌توان به استفاده از مخروط کاغذی، احساس دست، رادیوگرافی و دستگاههای الکترونیکی اپکس‌یاب اشاره کرد. طبق مطالعات انجام‌شده, کاربرد دستگاههای EAL (Electronic Apex Locator) می‌تواند تعداد رادیوگرافی‌های لازم برای درمان ریشه را تا حد قابل ملاحظه‌ای کاهش دهد؛ همچنین این دستگاه در شرایط خاص مانند بیماران دارای رفلکس تهوع شدید، زنان باردار، بیماران عقب‌مانده ذهنی و یا ناتوان و نیز در موارد وجود ساختمانهای آناتومیکی خاص, جایگزین مناسبی برای رادیوگرافی می‌باشد.<p></p><p dir="rtl"><strong>هدف:</strong> مطالعه حاضر با هدف مقایسه دقت یک نوع دستگاه اپکس‌یاب نسل سوم ساخت داخل با Neosono Ultima EZ (Amadent, USA) و رادیوگرافی انجام شد.</p><p dir="rtl"><strong>روش بررسی:</strong> در این مطالعه که از نوع بررسی آزمونها بود, 51 دندان مولر فک پایین که به دلایل بیماری پریودنتال یا پوسیدگیهای شدید, کشیده شده بودند و واجد شرایط لازم (عدم وجود کلسیفیکاسیون، تحلیل داخلی و خارجی، خمیدگی شدید ریشه یا شکستگی آن) بودند, انتخاب شدند. دندانها در محلول هیپوکلریت‌سدیم 5/2% شستشو داده شدند و پس از شستشو با آب در محلول فرمالین 10% و در حرارت اتاق نگهداری شدند.</p><p dir="rtl"><strong>یافته‌ها:</strong> دقت دستگاه ایرانی (8/81%) معادل رادیوگرافی (2/81% ) حاصل شد؛ اما دقت دستگاه Neosono Ultima EZ (9/92%) از دو روش دیگر بالاتر بود.</p><p dir="rtl"><strong>نتیچه‌گیری:</strong> با استفاده از آزمون تطابق داده‌ها با توزیع دو جمله‌ای اختلاف معنی‌داری بین دستگاه Neosono Ultima EZ با دو گروه دیگر وجود نداشت (05/0P>).</p></span /> <p> <strong>Statement of Problem:</strong>Various methods have already been suggested to measure the working length in root canal therapy among which the use of paper point, tactile sense, radiography and electronic apex finder instruments can be named. Investigations on EAL (Electronic Apex Locator) indicate that these instruments can reduce the number of required radiography to a great extent. Moreover, in special cases such as patients with high risk reflex, pregnant women, the mental disabled and handicapped and also in cases with special anatomical structures these instruments are proper substitutes for radiography.<br><strong>Purpose:</strong> The aim of this study was to compare the accuracy of an Iranian made apex finder instrument with Neosono Ultima EZ and radiography.<br><strong>Materials and Methods:</strong> This study was conducted on 51 mandibular molars, devoid of calcification, internal and external resorption, severe root curve or fracture, which were extracted due to periodontal disease or severe caries. All the specimens were washed in 2.5% hypochlorite sodium and washing with water, kept in 10% formalin solution, under room temperature.<br><strong>Results:</strong> The accuracy of the Iranian instrument was measured (81.8%) similar to that of radiography (81.2%).
