fa بررسی میزان کارایی پرتونگاری پری‌اپیکال برای تشخیص تحلیل اپیکال ریشه دندان (مطالعه بافت‌شناسی) عمومی general تحقیقی Research <strong>بیان مسأله:</strong> یکی از ضایعات دندانی که معمولاً با استفاده از کلیشه‌های پری‌اپیکال تشخیص داده می‌شود، تحلیل اپیکالی ریشه دندان می‌باشد. تشخیص وجود و مقدار این عارضه می‌تواند در نحوه درمان ریشه و پیش‌آگهی درمان تأثیرگذار باشد.</p> <p dir="rtl"><strong>هدف:</strong> مطالعه حاضر با هدف بررسی میزان کارایی پرتونگاری پری‌‌اپیکال در تشخیص تحلیل اپیکالی ریشه انجام شد.</p> <p dir="rtl"><strong>روش بررسی:</strong> در این مطالعه تجربی (In-vitro) 60 دندان که قبل از خارج شدن، از آنها پرتونگاری تهیه شده بود، مورد مطالعه بافت‌شناسی قرار گرفتند و نتیجه بررسیهای پرتوشناختی و بافت‌شناختی از نظر وجود و شدت تحلیل اپیکالی ریشه با استفاده از آزمون تعمیم‌یافته فیشر با یکدیگر مقایسه شدند.</p> <p dir="rtl"><strong>یافته‌ها: </strong>نتایج این مطالعه اختلاف معنی‌داری را بین دو روش پرتوشناختی و بافت‌شناسی نشان داد (0003/0P=). تنها در 33/53% از موارد ارزیابی این دو روش با یکدیگر منطبق بودند که از این تعداد 23% واجد تحلیل ریشه بودند.عدم هماهنگی در 46% از موارد مشاهده شد؛ همچنین هیچ‌گونه اختلافی بین شیوع تحلیل اپیکالی در دندانهای فک بالا و پایین وجود نداشت (233/0P=). میزان حساسیت پرتونگاری پری‌اپیکال در تشخیص تحلیل اپیکال ریشه در این تحقیق 3/57 % تعیین شد.</p> <p dir="rtl"><strong>نتیجه‌گیری</strong>: با توجه به یافته‌های این مطالعه، به نظر می‌رسد تکنیک پری‌اپیکال برای تشخیص تحلیل اپیکالی ریشه دندان، از کارایی مطلوبی برخوردار نمی‌باشد و لازم است محدودیت آن مورد توجه قرار گیرد.</p> </span> <p><strong>Statement of Problem:</strong> One of the dental lesions which is mainly diagnosed by periapical radiography is apical root resorption Diagnosis of the presence and extension of this lesion can put some effects on its treatment plan and prognosis. </p><p><strong>Purpose:</strong> The aim of the present study was to evaluate the efficacy of periapical radiography on apical root resorption diagnosis. Materials and <strong>Methods:</strong> In this experimental study, sixty extracted teeth were examined radiographic and histological regarding the presence and extension of apical root resorption. It should be noted that periapical radiographs were taken before extraction of all mentioned teeth. The results were analyzed by Fisher’s exact test. </p><p><strong>Results:</strong> The results of this study showed significant differences between radiological and histological examinations (P=0.0003). Significant correlation between these two observations was seen only in 53.33% of cases comprising 23% of teeth with root resouption. Non-correlation was found in 46% of samples. Moreover, there was no significant difference in the prevalence of apical root resorption between maxillary and mandibular teeth (P=0.233).
